Visit with Les...East coast landscape

Walking down the C & O canal. This canal runs from DC to Cumberland, MD
This is the bridge going into Paw Paw. Going from Maryland into W. Virginia
The canal was so pretty and many bikers bike from DC into Maryland on this path
Right before you get into Paw Paw. Notice the trees. So beautiful here. Wish I could see it in October with all the fall colors
To give you an example why it is difficult to get cell service. The trees are so thick you can't even see through them
On top of the mountain looking down into the valley
The catholic church in Cumberland, MD
One of the tunnels Les will be working on
They are also historical, so they are going to try to preserve the stone
This is the road they take everyday to get from tunnel 1 to tunnel 2. It's so pretty
It's hard to see because it is dark....but it reads Slow Down Dangerous Armed Rednecks Ahead. This is no joke. They have what you call squatters here. There is a lot of land owned by the railroad, and these squatters come in, and if they are there for a certain amount of time, the land becomes their's. They have no electricity or running water. It is amazing. Anyone that owns land had no tresspassing/private property signs like every 100 yards on their land just because of squatters. Think Deliverance....lol
