Babies...babies...and more babies

Jen and Porter
Porter Adams Wingerter came early (due August 17) on August 3rd at 12:04 in the morning born to some of my closest and dearest friends Ryan and Jennifer Wingerter. Jen and Ryan have asked for prayers as Porter and Jen have different blood types, and somehow their blood were mixed in the womb. Porter was on the ventilator and has been receiving blood exchange transfusions. He is a little fighter so I'm told. He has since come off the ventilator, is now eating...but is continuing to need the exchange transfusions. His platelets are now in the acceptable range, but he is still on oxygen, and his congregated billirubin is still high. They are hoping he won't have to be flown to the Children's clinic in Denver...but as I said he is a little fighter. I was so sad that I am 1800 miles away in West Virginia, and can't be there to support Jen and Ryan.

Eli Leslie Tyler born July 29th at 9:17 am. We were so happy to have a second nephew born just 3 weeks after little Jacob. Les was really excited to hear Cori had named little Eli after both him and his grandpa Les. Les of course informed his mom he is going to call him little Les

He was due on the 10th (the day we were coming home from Seattle)...but this little guy did not want to wait. He of course decided to come 4 hours after we set out for our Portland/Seattle vacation. Little stinker. We (especially my brother Isaac) was so excited that another boy was to be born into the family. There are all little girls...and Kaleb is the only boy. Now...we have Jacob..
