It was absolutely gorgeous out East when we went to visit Les this past weekend. It was 68 the first day we were there. We took advantage of that weather. We did a little Christmas shopping at the outlet stores, Les' company booked us a room at a beautiful resort on the lake, we went to the Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, VA (that's where they filmed the Transformers....Kaleb LOVED it!), and we went to the National Zoo in DC. Then....we flew in to 18 degree weather here in beautiful Montana. I love winter, but it was a bit of a shock for us after the gorgeous weather out east. AND, I spent the better first 15 minutes scraping 2 inches of ice off my windshield. We were excited to catch some of the beautiful fall colors...oh! And I almost forgot...we took Ava to her FAVORITE theater the Alamo Drafthouse to see Puss in Boots. It was a great mini vacation for the 3 of us.
