Halloween

So...I kinda kicked myself with this little project. I offered to volunteer for Kaleb's Halloween party at school...after I had already offered to bring treats for both Kaleb's and Ava's class. I made 42 cake pops (which took me a FULL day...after I had spent two hours making and rolling the cake into balls to put in the fridge the day before), THEN somehow got suckered into also doing 24 sugar cookies for Kaleb's class to decorate. Oofta...that was a busy few days. I'll remember to not stretch myself so thin with Les being out of state next time.
We sure missed Les being here to help carve pumpkins. We made a great team the 3 of us though...and got them done!
Mom talked me into going out, I talked her into dressing up...then she talked me into entering in the costume contest....end result: 2nd place with a $100 dollar gift card to the 307 bar and grill!
The kids LOVED that Bompa dressed up to go trick or treatin' with them
Captain America, Lalaloopsy and the cutest kitty princess!
We had a big group trick or treatin' down Clark street this year.
And...it's become a tradition that I dress up to take the kids! They love it.
This is what happens when you have a weekend full of Halloween activities.....LIGHTS OUT!
