A cabin on the river

Looking at the cabin from the river
Our jeep in the driveway...it has been so much fun so far
Kaleb has become quite the little fish
 swimming in the river
Kaleb caught a fish with his bare hands!  It was only about 6 inches, but he was so pleased with himself, he insisted I take a picture so he could show his Bompa
The view from the cabin looking towards the river

One of the big bosses from Condon Johnson (who Les is employed with) has been staying in a cabin right on the Cacapon river.  Mike only came out for about 5 months, and will be turning the job over to Les when he leaves.  He is just the nicest guy.  As soon as we flew in, he took us out to dinner and a movie, and insisted on us taking advantage of his cabin.  I of course politely declined...because I felt a little guilty about it.  After the 5th day of him insisting (they work all day and he insisted it's going to waste with no one to enjoy it), and the weather being in the 90's with 90% humidity, the kids and I packed a lunch and drove the 15 min out to his cabin.  It was delightful!  Mike has no neighbors, and the river by the property is private.  So, we had it all to ourselves.  The water was the right temperature, and we didn't have to fight anyone for a spot.  We definitely are going to be spoiled that is for sure.
