We look forward to the Strawberry festival every year. From the 100 ft strawberry shortcake to the strawberry Napoleon's to the strawberry everything. And of course....the kids LOVE the vendors. When I woke up the morning of the festival, it looked gloomy, and I saw little trickles of rain. I was a little bummed...not going to lie; but I refused to let it ruin our day. I laid out jeans for everyone and hopped in the shower. As I was walking through the living room to check on the little curtain climbers...I saw SUN....GLORIOUS SUN! So, I swaped jeans for shorts, called Isaac to see if him and Kaylee wanted to go...and off we went. We spent three hours stuffing ourselves with everything strawberry, checked out all the vendors, bought my niece the CUTEST hat, melted in the sun (which was extremely hot), listened to some good music...and finally took home some exhausted children. Overall...a good day. Can't wait till next year.
