This was such a neat experience. I had really wanted to tour Mount Vernon. While Les is out East, we are trying to take advantage as much as we can. I am trying to show my kids as much history as I can. Every time we go out to visit, I take them somewhere knew. On the way to Mount Vernon, we bought a day pass on the subway (which the kids just loved). My mom had come out with us on this vacation. It was the kids spring break, Ava's birthday, and Easter all rolled into one. There were so many more pictures I wanted to share, but I had to weed through them of course.
