Can I be a slug?

Last week was Celebrating Catholic Schools week. The kids had so much fun during spirit week. Friday was dress up like who you want to be when you grow up. After dinner earlier that week, the kids and I were discussing what career they would like to pursue when they grow up. Ava was on a roll...A doctor, a teacher, a vet (she's always said a vet since she was little). And well, my little Kaleb was highly bored with the conversation. He sat there playing his Ds rolling his eyes at every suggestion Ava had about who she wanted to be. I then turned the conversation on him, and asked what he wanted to be when he grew up. He simply shrugged his shoulders and said, "Can I be a slug?". Haha...Heehee...Yes, my little charachter. We have a lot of work over the next few years. I told him slugs weren't human, and therefore could not work and support their families. He decided being a football player would be ok if he couldn't be a slug. A slug! What 5 year old wants to be a slug?
