A few weeks ago before Easter, Ava asked me if the Easter Bunny was real. I thought...this is it. No Easter Bunny means no Santa Claus means no tooth fairy. I wasn't quite prepared to let go of my little girl...and enter the phase of BIG girl. I asked her why she thought there might not be an Easter Bunny. She, being the thoughtful person she is, said she just heard it on the radio. So, I asked her do YOU believe in the Easter Bunny. She was very quiet for awhile. Then, she said, yes mom, actually I do. Now...I was conflicted with lying and telling her the truth. So...I did what any sensible mom would do, and said it does not matter what anyone else believes...it matters what you believe. You could really see the wheels turning on that one. She just smiled and said of course there has to be an Easter Bunny...I saw him at the mall. Then, (proud moment for me) she said, besides...the true meaning of Easter is about Jesus dying for our sins...and then he rose from the dead. Ah...it makes cutting that tuition check to the catholic school a little easier! :)

Mom...is the Easter Bunny real?!?!
We spent Easter out at mom and dad's with my brothers and their kids. It was a lot of fun....and watch out! Little Kaylee is getting quite good at finding eggs. By next year she is gonna give the kids a run for their money!
