A friend of mine had sent me a picture of when I was little and in dance in this exact pose. Les and I wanted a picture of Ava in this pose to put in a frame with us both side by side. When Ava had seen the picture of me when I was young she said, "Mom, I don't remember taking that picture of me." It is a little eery how much we look alike when I was little.

Ava's dance recital was last night, and she was so stinkin' cute. Les and I were so proud of how good she did. I was worried she would be nervous.....I don't know what I was thinking? She got up there and danced her little heart out. Nana, Bompa, and Uncle CoCo (Danny) drove over from Columbus to watch her. She was really excited about that. She was so pleased when Les and I gave her flowers....and was even more excited that her Bompa bought her flowers as well.
